Dr. Jennifer Cowgill, soprano and Assistant Professor of Voice, presented a paper entitled “Comparing the Vocal Dose of University Students from Vocal Performance, Music Education and Musical Theater” at the International Voice Foundation Annual Symposium in Philadelphia, PA in June of 2009 in collaboration with Dr. Christopher Gaskill of the College of Arts and Sciences and Department of Communicative Disorders.

Tenor Stephen Cary, UA Professor of Voice, released a CD in the spring of 2009 on the MSR Classics label.  The new recording of Dichterliebe and An die ferne Geliebte with pianist Dennis Helmrich has been warmly received and is available through Amazon .com and other outlets.
