Ensemble Auditions

Fall 2011 Large Ensemble Audition Info

Auditions for the Alabama Wind Ensemble, the Alabama Symphonic Band, the Huxford Symphony Orchestra, the Alabama Jazz Ensemble and Combos will be held on Monday, August 22 and Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in the Moody School of Music Concert Hall at the times listed below.  Students should complete an audition form and bring the audition form with you to the audition.  Students should sign up for a specific time with the audition manager outside the Concert Hall on the day of the audition. 

The Alabama Concert Band meets during Spring Semester only.  Audition information regarding that ensemble will be available in November.

Please note:

Rosters for the Alabama Wind Ensemble  and Alabama Symphonic Band will be posted on the University Bands website at the conclusion of auditions.  Rosters for the Huxford Orchestra will be posted after auditions are complete on the Huxford board across from room 201.  Rosters for the Alabama Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combos will be posted on the Jazz Studies board outside of room 201a.

The Alabama Jazz Ensemble/Jazz Combos  (NOTE: THERE IS NO AUDITION FOR SPRING 2012.  Placement carries over from Fall 2011)
