Tuscaloosa, AL – The University of Alabama College of Arts & Sciences School of Music presents Jonathan Whitaker on trombone with piano accompaniment by Kevin Chance on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Moody Music Building on the campus of The University of Alabama.
The program will include “Sonata in C Major” by Alessandro Besozzi,“Tonoi VIII” by Nickitas Demos, “À La Manière de Vivaldi,” “À La Manière de Debussy” and “À La Manière de Stravinsky” by Jean-Michel Defaye, “Sonatina für Posaune und Klavier” by Kazimierz Serocki and “Colors” by Bert Appermont.
The tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for seniors, and $3 for students.
