Congratulations to Kim Scott and Akilah Bryant Kidd who both appeared recently as panelists and featured soloists for the National Flute Association Summer Series. The panel discussion was titled “Let’s Talk: Join Black flutists for a live conversation concerning systemic racism, allyship, and the flute community.” Both graduated from UA with a BM in Flute Performance.
