Starting Fall 2025, Concert Band auditions will be included with all other instrumental ensemble auditions.

Fall 2026/Spring 2027 Jazz Ensemble/Combo Audition Information

The University of Alabama Jazz Ensemble, The University of Alabama Jazz Lab Band, and the Alabama Jazz Combos Audition Information and times:

ALL SEATS ARE OPEN TO AUDITION

Auditions will take place on:
Monday August 17, 2026 in the JRR room 201

Noon – Trombones

1:30pm – Trumpets

Tuesday August 18, 2026 in the JRR room 201

1:15pm – Saxophones

2:30pm – Rhythm Section (Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drum Set)

The results of the placements will be posted on this page by the end of the day on Wednesday August 19, 2026 on the Jazz Studies bulletin board.
