From the Associate Director:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to UA’s School of Music website! The School of Music has cultivated a tradition of high musical and academic merit whose programs have garnered prestige in numerous areas of performance and learning. As the Director of Undergraduate Studies, my goal is to ensure that each student in the School of Music has every opportunity to receive a first-rate educational experience.  As the Director of Student Affairs and Student Wellness, my purpose is to encourage comprehensive student growth and to be an advocate for the individual and collective well-being of the School of Music community.

The University of Alabama has a wide range of programs, services, and resources, all of which are designed to support the health, safety, and wellness of all students. I am here to help you find the help and support you need! Worried about “fitting in”? I have great news for you: the diversity of the School of Music community is a large part of what makes us exceptional; we embrace uniqueness, similarities, and differences. No matter your background, beliefs, race, gender/gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, etc., you are welcome!
